To share an old refrain, this is not normal. Trump speaks and comports himself like a tinpot dictator from some failed state, and not a president of the United States. How long before his actions begin to follow his demeanor? In some ways, it has already begun: how much governing has Congress done, versus Trump and his executive orders, just "decreeing" things to be so? Wake up, America, before it is too late. Something must be done to stop him. You know how people look back on history with hindsight and are like, "something should have been done about X before it got out of control"? This is one of those moments. Where do you stand, and what will you do?

Facebook Post 2-2-17: Reaction to Executive Orders
WTF is up with all of these executive orders? Has Congress just up and given up on lawmaking, like its one *actual* function, in favor of letting the executive just make law? Because I have been hearing a lot about executive orders, and nothing about Congress doing or passing...anything. Somehow we've managed to break the Government. I'm not sure it can be fixed. It might be time for a new one.

What in the actual f...? Trump is a danger to this country. This move puts us all at *actual* risk. We as a country need to find a way to get these people *out* before it is too late, and while we still can.

US Customs refusing to abide by court orders. Executive Orders being written and implemented without any consultation from the federal agencies that have expertise in the relevant areas and would be charged with fulfilling them. Firing knowledgable people from cabinet positions and filling it with sycophants and yes-men. Instituting "gag" orders on employees of federal agencies. 15 states are refusing to comply with EOs, as are even more cities, and senators in IL have started asking for independent inquiries into ICE implementation of the latest EO. Groups of individuals in certain federal agencies feel the need to "go rogue." One week in and there is already chaos in government. The government of Donald Trump has lost what meagre legitimacy it had and now is an active danger to the good of this country. We need a way to call for elections NOW. It cannot wait until midterms. This is not about politics, liberal or conservative. This is about preserving our system of government.
